In 2001, he received awards for Best-Selling Pop Male Artist and European Male Artist at the World Music Awards. Iglesias also won an award for Most Successful Spanish Artist of the Decade in 2002. In 2014, he holds the record for having the best charting Spanish song on the Billboard charts, which has sold 1 million copies since its release.

Enrique Iglesias has had his forays into the world of advertising recording commercials or advertisements for major brands.

In 2002 he got his first advertising contract and recorded the Salsa Doritos ad campaign for PepsiCo International . In this commercial you hear the song ” Do not Turn off the Lights ” from their album Escape. The exclusive presentation of this commercial was in New York City .

In 2003, PepsiCo is rehired to record Gladiators advertising campaign with several pop stars. Enrique Iglesias starred as a Roman emperor alongside Britney Spears, Pink and Beyonce . According to the New York Times, Henry received 80 million dollars for this one-year contract .

In 2004 he starred in the campaign Viceroy (European watch brand) recording a commercial in which Iglesias is slowly shedding his clothes to go through the metal detector an elegant theater to his underwear without losing his watch. In the commercial you hear the song “Addicted” from their album 7.

In 2005 the brand Tommy Hilfiger launches special perfume Enrique Iglesias under the name of “True Star Men.” Enrique participated with the brand in the creation of this fragrance.
